We try to provide a central source of genealogical data for those who may have had ancestors from the area. While most of the site is "open" or public, access to some areas is limited to those with specific research interests who had relatives born in the village prior to 1900 (resp. not living persons).

In order to foster communications between individuals tracing a common family line, we list each researcher´s name, an email address, and his or her family or families of interest. Rather than leaving the email listing in the public area, making it available to potential spammers, we try to protect it through a LOGIN and PASSWORD.
If you wish to be listed on the protected researcher´s page (and to use the protected pages), please send us your list of Metzenseifen ancestors.
Last but not least, please send a photo of yourself to info@metzenseifen.de (subject: Registration), it will be displayed in the size 30*40 pixel on the (only for registered user) accessible researcher page.

These steps are necessary:
1. Type your name and e-mail-address (this page);
2. Type the data of your Metzenseifen ancestors (three at least, next page);
3. Check your data and send to our data base admin.

  Please take notice of:
  a) Please provide a complete birth/death/marriage date, if known, in the pattern DD.MM.YYYY.
  b) Please type the name of a couple and their child(ren) at least
  c) (*) means mandantory field.
Please be patient, we have to check each new entry and will give an answer as soon as possible.
